"AutoGen: Enabling Next-Gen LLM Applications via Multi-Agent Conversation"

Large Language Models (LLMs), like GPT-4, have demonstrated outstanding abilities in reasoning, creativity, and deduction, opening up numerous possibilities for innovative applications. As the range of potential applications continues to grow, the complexity of managing LLM workflows also increases. In this talk, Wu will present AutoGen, a framework that leverages multi-agent conversations to collaboratively tackle complex tasks. AutoGen provides a flexible and modular solution, enabling the integration of LLMs, various tools, and human input into a unified multi-agent system. The framework has quickly gained popularity in the AI community, receiving over 12,000 stars within a month of its initial release. Wu will showcase a variety of applications enabled by AutoGen, including math problem-solving, retrieval-augmented question-answering, coding, decision-making, and entertainment. Additionally, Wu will cover AutoGen’s role in building socially responsible AI systems, highlighting examples of safeguards and human oversight mechanisms.

About the Speaker
